World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and Digicel Fiji has announced a new deal to broadcast ‘Raw’ and ‘SmackDown’ in the Pacific.

Sky Pacific subscribers will be able to watch WWE’s flagship programs – Raw and SmackDown – on TVWAN Action starting today.

In a statement, WWE Executive Vice President Mr Ed Wells said this is an exciting time for subscribers and WWE fans in the Pacific.

WELLS: “We are delighted to bring WWE fans in the Pacific WWE’s unique blend of all-action, family entertainment every week.”

Digicel Fiji CEO Mr Darren McLean said the introduction of WWE to TVWAN Action promised to bring hours of excitement to local viewers each week.

McLEAN: “WWE is very popular all around the world and we are looking forward to bringing it into the homes of people across Fiji. Sky Pacific is the new home of WWE in the Pacific and we’re sure local fans will be thrilled to gather with friends and family to watch WWE.”

Raw will air weekly, on Thursday afternoons, while SmackDown will air weekly around midday on Sunday’s.
