HFC Bank has announced the appointment of Mr Ross Munn as Chief Executive Officer.

In a statement Bank chairman, Mr Tom Ricketts said that the new CEO brings his specialist experience across all areas of banking and will certainly contribute to the banking industry and Fiji’s economy and take HFC Bank to greater heights.

RICKETTS: “Mr. Munn brings to HFC Bank a breadth and depth of experience in Commercial and Retail banking plus financial markets. He has held senior positions with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) in New Zealand, Australia and Vietnam. CBA is the No. 1 bank in Australia. He is not new to Fiji and has had past experience with the Banking industry here in 2005 – 2007 as the General Manager of Colonial National Bank.”

Outgoing HFC Bank CEO Mr Isikeli Tikoduadua will conclude his term in office at the end of this month.

RICKETTS: “I am grateful to Mr. Tikoduadua for his tremendous contribution over the years and wishes his successor, Mr. Munn all the best for the next step in this journey.”

Mr Tikoduadua has decided to retire after spending 40 years in the banking industry and has been the CEO of HFC since July 2008.

Mr Tikoduadua was responsible for the conversion of HFC from a credit institution to a commercial bank in 2014.
